The beloved actor, known for his captivating performances in films like Unforgivable, The Duplex, and Beyond Reason, took to his social media page to share a deeply emotional post, revealing how a health condition he had ignored for months nearly turned into a life-changing tragedy.

> “Pray for me 😭😭… I almost went blind,” Mike wrote in a heartfelt caption, alongside a series of shocking photos showing him wearing protective eye patches and undergoing treatment.

According to Mike, the condition started subtly. He began experiencing frequent eye strain, headaches, and discomfort — symptoms he initially dismissed as stress or fatigue from spending long hours on set.

> “I didn’t take it seriously at first,” he said. “I thought it was just from constantly reading scripts, staring at screens, and bright lights during filming. But it got worse.”

After months of enduring pain and blurry vision, Mike finally sought medical help. The diagnosis? A severe growth developing dangerously close to his retina — one that, if left untreated, could have caused irreversible damage and total vision loss.

He underwent a delicate procedure to remove the growth, followed by weeks of recovery and treatment, during which he had to wear protective eye coverings and stay away from screens entirely — a huge challenge for someone whose life revolves around cameras and creativity.
