 What was supposed to be a day of joy turned into an unimaginable tragedy for one family in Imo State, Nigeria.


Earlier today, a grieving father shared his heartbreaking story with community members. With tears streaming down his face, he recalled the last words of his only son, a 25-year-old palm wine tapper.


> “Papa, I dey go bush go tap wine make we use celebrate your birthday well,” his son had said with a smile, carrying his tapping tools and a small calabash.




But hours later, what the father received was not fresh palm wine… but devastating news.


According to witnesses, the young man was found lifeless deep in the bush — his body partially swallowed by a giant python. The community was shaken to its core as photos from the scene began to circulate, showing the enormous serpent being cut open, revealing the lifeless form of the young tapper inside.


The father, upon hearing the news, collapsed in anguish.
