Popular Nigerian pastor K!II£d by Lion he entered Lion's cage to show his members his power(Photos)

In a shocking and tragic incident that has set social media abuzz, a popular Nigerian pastor known for his controversial stunts has reportedly been killed by a lion after entering its cage during a church outing.

According to eyewitnesses, the pastor — identified simply as Prophet Abraham of the Fire Dominion Church International — had taken his congregation to a private wildlife park on the outskirts of Port Harcourt as part of a "faith demonstration crusade."

During the visit, the pastor claimed he had received a divine instruction to “subdue the lion as Daniel did in the Bible.” To the amazement of onlookers, he climbed over the security barrier and stepped boldly into the lion’s enclosure.

"He was shouting ‘Power! Power! I am untouchable!’" one eyewitness said. “We were all shouting for him to come out, but he waved us off. Then the lion roared and lunged.”

Within seconds, chaos erupted as members screamed and attempted to intervene, but it was too late. Park security and staff tried to scare the animal away, but the pastor had already suffered fatal injuries before help could arrive.

Photos taken by horrified witnesses show the pastor mid-demonstration, hands lifted toward the sky, moments before tragedy struck. Authorities have since cordoned off the area, and an investigation is underway.

💬 Mixed Reactions Online

Nigerians on social media have reacted with a blend of disbelief, outrage, and mockery.

> "This is not faith. This is madness," one Twitter user commented.

"Rest in peace, but God is not a magician," another wrote.

Others have called for stricter regulations on religious leaders who perform dangerous stunts in the name of miracles.

🦁 Park Responds

The management of Eden Safari Park, where the incident occurred, released a statement expressing regret and confirming that the lion involved has been sedated and relocated pending a full safety review.

"We have clear warning signs and restrictions in place," the statement read. “Visitors are never allowed to enter animal enclosures. This was a breach of protocol.”

This incident marks yet another chapter in the growing list of fatal ‘faith demonstrations’ that have claimed lives in Nigeria and other parts of Africa, raising questions about the limits of religious influence and the need for accountability.
