“Unbelievable moment ” - Nigerian Pastor Goes to Heaven during a prayer session in his church (Video)


 

In what many are calling a divine mystery and others an elaborate miracle, a viral video has taken over Nigerian social media with the shocking caption: “Unbelievable moment – Nigerian Pastor Goes to Heaven during a prayer session in his church.”


The incident reportedly happened at a midweek revival service at Fire Anointing Ministries, a growing Pentecostal church located in Ogun State. According to eyewitnesses and church members present, the lead pastor, Prophet Chukwudi Emmanuel, was leading a fiery intercessory prayer session when the unthinkable happened.


A Prayer Session Like No Other


Eyewitnesses say the atmosphere was already charged with intense worship and speaking in tongues. Worshippers claimed that the presence in the room was “heavy,” and some began falling under the anointing. Then, Prophet Chukwudi reportedly lifted both hands to heaven, shouted “I see glory!” and collapsed backward — but here’s where the story takes a twist.


Instead of falling to the ground, as seen in the video now circulating online, he appeared to vanish mid-air, surrounded by a sudden burst of light and what some describe as a “mist-like cloud.” The live-stream footage shows church members screaming, crying, and running in confusion while others knelt in prayer, believing the pastor had been “taken like Elijah.”


The Aftermath and Mixed Reactions


About ten minutes later, the pastor reportedly reappeared at the altar — barefoot, sweating, and visibly shaken. Witnesses say he dropped to his knees and began weeping uncontrollably. In the video, he is heard saying:


> “I was taken… I saw angels… I stood before a throne. God is real! This generation must repent!”




The video has since gone viral across TikTok, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter), racking up millions of views and sparking heated debates. While many followers and believers are calling it a sign of end-time revival and evidence of divine favor, skeptics are labeling it an illusion or a staged performance.


What Really Happened?


The church released a statement via its official Facebook page, claiming the event was “a supernatural encounter not staged or rehearsed.” They’ve also announced a weeklong revival themed “Heaven Touched Earth” in honor of what they’re calling “The Visitation.”


Critics, however, are demanding full video footage, technical analysis, and even calling for authorities to investigate what they say could be a “misleading spiritual stunt.”


As of now, the pastor has declined media interviews but promises to share his full “heavenly encounter” in an upcoming Sunday service.
