Nigerian Man removes his wife 4 t.eeths after DNA tests reveals that he is not the father of their 3 children (Video)

In a shocking and deeply disturbing incident that has gone viral on social media, a Nigerian man identified only as Mr. Emmanuel has been arrested after allegedly assaulting his wife upon discovering that he is not the biological father of their three children. The story, which broke on Wednesday morning, has left many Nigerians stunned and sparked widespread outrage online.

According to eyewitness reports and a now-deleted video circulating on Twitter and Facebook, the 42-year-old man from Delta State reportedly confronted his wife, Mrs. Grace Emmanuel, after receiving the results of a DNA test he had secretly conducted on their children. The test confirmed his worst fears—he was not the father of any of them.

Sources close to the family say Mr. Emmanuel had been suspicious for months after noticing that none of the children shared any of his physical traits. Without informing his wife, he proceeded with a paternity test, and when the results came back, he reportedly “snapped.”

What happened next has left the community in shock.

In a fit of rage, Mr. Emmanuel allegedly attacked his wife with a pair of pliers in the early hours of Tuesday, forcibly removing four of her teeth before neighbors intervened. A video recorded by one of the neighbors shows a bloodied and bruised Mrs. Emmanuel sitting on the ground, weeping in pain as bystanders called the police.

She has since been hospitalized and is currently receiving treatment at a private clinic in Asaba. Doctors confirmed that four of her upper front teeth were dislodged, and she also sustained injuries to her lips and face.

Delta State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of Mr. Emmanuel, and investigations are ongoing.

“We condemn this act of violence in the strongest terms,” said DSP Bright Edafe, the police spokesperson. “No matter the provocation, taking the law into your own hands and inflicting physical harm is criminal. The suspect will be charged accordingly.”

Meanwhile, social media is buzzing with mixed reactions. While a large majority condemned the violent assault, some others sparked a heated debate about infidelity, paternity fraud, and the emotional toll on unsuspecting fathers.

“This man deserves the full weight of the law. Cheating is bad, yes, but resorting to barbaric violence is worse,” a Facebook user wrote.

As the story continues to unfold, many are calling for a national conversation on paternity testing, consent, and domestic violence—issues that are too often swept under the rug in Nigerian society.
