“ I Can Never Forget Him” - Nigerian lady returns After 3 years in UK locates roadside mechanic boyfriend who sponsored her (Video) ‎

In a heartwarming story that has touched many across social media, a Nigerian lady who spent three years in the United Kingdom has returned home and done something most wouldn’t expect — she tracked down the man who believed in her when no one else did: her former roadside mechanic boyfriend.

In the now-viral video, the young woman, elegantly dressed and visibly emotional, is seen embracing a stunned and overwhelmed man in a dusty mechanic workshop. The caption read: "I can never forget him. He used to starve just to make sure I had enough to survive in the UK."

According to sources, the two were in a relationship before she got the opportunity to study and work abroad. However, what makes this story extraordinary is that her boyfriend, a roadside mechanic in Lagos, was the one who financed a significant portion of her travel and early settlement abroad. He reportedly sold off his only car, took loans, and sometimes skipped meals — all to support her dream.

Many people thought she would never return, or worse — that she'd forget him once she got comfortable overseas. But defying all stereotypes, she returned not just to visit, but to find him.

“I didn’t come back to show off. I came back to find the man who made it all possible. The world may see a mechanic, but I see a king,” she said tearfully in the video.

The video has since sparked thousands of comments online, with many praising her loyalty and integrity. Others have called the story “a rare example of true love in our generation,” while some urged her to make the relationship official.

Sources close to the lady say she is currently arranging for him to join her abroad, and that wedding plans may even be in the works.

This touching story reminds us that true love doesn’t always come in shiny packages — sometimes, it wears grease-stained overalls and sacrifices everything in silence.
