A heartbreaking incident occurred this morning in Delta State, Nigeria, as a man transporting plywood to a construction site met a tragic end. Eyewitnesses report that the victim, whose identity has yet to be confirmed at the time of this report, was carrying a load of large plywood sheets when the vehicle encountered difficulty along the road.

According to sources at the scene, the truck or transport vehicle reportedly got stuck or lost balance, causing the heavy plywood sheets to shift and fall on the man. The impact was fatal.

Bystanders rushed to offer help, but sadly, it was too late. The tragic moment was captured in a disturbing video that has since surfaced online, sparking sorrow and reflection among viewers.

This unfortunate event has once again highlighted the risks many hardworking Nigerians face daily in their quest to earn a living. From traders to laborers, artisans to drivers, the hustle is real—and often dangerous.

As the video circulates, many Nigerians have taken to social media to mourn the loss and express their fears and frustrations about safety in manual labor and transport jobs.

> “May we not die while hustling and looking for what to eat. Amen.”

This heartfelt prayer is resonating across platforms as people reflect on the harsh realities of daily survival in the country.

Authorities have yet to release an official statement, and it remains unclear whether any safety precautions were overlooked in the transport of the materials. For now, the community mourns a life lost too soon—another breadwinner taken in the line of duty.

May his soul rest in peace.
