“Congratulations” - Nigerian Woman gives birth to 9babies (4 boys, 5girls) She stayed 15years trying to get pregnant (Photos)
In a story that has left both doctors and well-wishers amazed, a Nigerian woman has defied all odds to welcome nine beautiful babies — four boys and five girls — after 15 years of waiting and praying for a child.
The miraculous birth, which took place at a specialist hospital in Lagos, has quickly gone viral on social media, with people across the globe sending in messages of love, admiration, and deep joy for the resilient mother.
A Journey Marked by Faith, Pain, and Perseverance
Identified simply as Mrs. Grace Eze, the 43-year-old mother shared her emotional journey of battling infertility since she got married in 2010. Despite multiple medical consultations, spiritual battles, and countless moments of heartbreak, Grace never gave up on her dream of becoming a mother.
> "There were nights I cried until I had no tears left," she recounted tearfully. "But I always told myself that the God who opens the womb of Hannah and Sarah still lives."
For 15 long years, she and her husband faced intense societal pressure, cruel remarks, and even suggestions to “try elsewhere.” But they stood together — unshaken.
A Shocking but Joyous Revelation
During a routine scan in her second trimester, Grace was told she was carrying multiple fetuses, but nothing could have prepared her for what came next.
> "The doctors initially thought I was having five, then they counted seven. But on the delivery day, to our shock, they brought out nine healthy babies!" she laughed.
Photos from the delivery room show the proud mother smiling broadly, surrounded by tiny bundles wrapped in pink and blue blankets. Medical staff can also be seen cheering and holding up signs that read, “Miracle Babies!”
The Babies Are Thriving
According to the hospital’s chief medical officer, Dr. Sola Adebanjo, the delivery — done via cesarean section — was one of the most delicate and extraordinary procedures the hospital had ever handled.
> “It was a high-risk pregnancy, but with careful monitoring and round-the-clock attention, both mother and babies are doing fine,” he confirmed.
