Muna Obiekwe was a very loved Nigerian actor who managed to win the hearts of many Nollywood viewers with the roles he played in his movies and also his undeniable handsomeness. 



He was born in 1980 to Vera Kanu, his mother but little is known about his father. he stared in movies dating back to the late 90s, including Arrows, Eye of God, Secret code, and many others


.on the 18th of January 2015, his fans and the world at large was set to sorrow after the news of his death became viral. Muna Obiekwe died at 36 out of Kidney failure. Reports claimed he was found bleeding in his apartment and upon being rushed to the hospital, he died.


Due to how private he lived, little is known about his family. His wife was Gift Obiekwe and no internet data shows when and how they got married. Record from his close friends says he had two children with his wife before his death.

after his death, it was speculated that his addiction to alcohol was a contributing factor to his sudden death as he did not heed to doctors’ advice. he was buried in his hometown on the 3rd of February 2015.
